You fly on Tuesday 5 November and Sunday 10 November you take the return flight, In 4 days you will experience all the beauty of the province of Girona on foot. Every day we start and finish in Devesa park, next to the historic center of Girona. 70% of the route is on unpaved paths through the woods, it is hilly here and there with climbs, a good condition is necessary. There is a long version (ca 25 km/day) and a short version (ca 18 km/day). The short and long routes largely follow the same route, the long one has an extra loop.

If you register for the 4 We will organize your stay for you every day. Our walkers can choose from the comfortable 2 stars Ibis Girona Costa Brava hotel, or for an extra price the luxury 4 stars Hotel Carlemany. If you want to stay longer, you can do so under the same conditions (favorable prices). You can send us an email about this and we will arrange the extra nights. A possible 3rd option is a special B&B from the Dutch owner Debbie, in the village of Banyoles: https://www.123ole.nl/. • Heen: Amsterdam – Barcelona, flight VY 8303, departure 5 november 13.15 o’clock, arrival 15.30 o’clock
• Back: Barcelona – Amsterdam, flight VY 8302, departure 10 november 13.25 o’clock, arrival 15.55 o’clock

Of Transavia flights do not connect with our transfers. The only possible option is to go from Rotterdam to Barcelona 5 November arrival 9.40 hour and back from Barcelona to Rotterdam 10 November departure 14:55 o’clock. Then you have to do both on the way there, wait for the buses on the way back, who leave later and arrive earlier again.

By train: You can buy tickets from August via www.happyrail.com. With the Eurostar (Thalys) to Paris-Nord, transfer there by metro or R line to Gare du Lyon, then continue with the TGV directly to Girona. From Girona station you can easily walk to your hotel.

The four-day walking tour of Girona is organized by walking enthusiast Wilma Kneppers with son Paul Kneppers and his team. Paul has a company in Girona that offers cycling trips and cycling holidays + organizes training sessions, see : www.campobicicleta.com.
